Eligibility conditions
Recognised engineering degree or explicitly accepted equivalent route. Certain electronics services accept specified M.Sc. routes. Appearing candidates have later qualification-proof deadlines. Nationality, service-specific medical standards and certificate conditions apply.

Selection / assessment process
Preliminary, Main and Personality Test.
Exam pattern / marking scheme
Stage I: two objective papers, 500 marks. Stage II: two conventional papers, 600 marks. Personality Test: 200 marks.

- Complete the UPSC account, universal registration, common form and ESE-specific module before 18:00 IST on 6 October.
Use the authority’s own application flow. Never share passwords, OTPs or payment PINs with us. Official application fees are separate from optional form-help charges.
