CGSS — credit guarantee for eligible startups
The Credit Guarantee Scheme for Startups supports qualifying debt finance through member institutions. Startup India explains the borrower conditions and lender assessment route, including JanSamarth. A recognised startup can use this information when discussing finance, but recognition alone is insufficient. The lender evaluates viability and the guarantee does not remove the borrower’s repayment duties.
