Who can apply?
Minimum qualification
Post-specific routes from 10th/12th/ITI to recognised graduate/postgraduate and library/printing qualifications, with skills and experience as prescribed.
Eligibility conditions
13 posts: Deputy Secretary 1, Assistant Editor 1, Senior Library & Information Assistant 2, Junior Translation Officer 1, Technical Assistant 1, Programme Assistant 1, Publication Assistant 5, Proof Reader/General Assistant 2, Stenographer II 4, Messenger/Rider 1, Van Driver 1, Junior Clerk 4 and MTS 6. Clerk requires 12th, computer knowledge and English typing 35 wpm or Hindi 30 wpm. MTS requires 10th/12th/ITI equivalent and basic computer/multiskilling. Driver/rider require the relevant licence and driving experience. Senior/editorial/technical roles have additional degree and experience requirements in the linked eligibility schedule.

Send signed form with self-attested documents by speed/registered post to Secretary, Sahitya Akademi, Rabindra Bhavan, 35 Ferozeshah Road, New Delhi 110001 by 21 October 2026. Superscribe the post name. Email applications are not accepted. Separate application for each post; do not pay the withdrawn fee.
