Minimum qualification
Regular first-class engineering degree in the stated or accepted allied discipline; Industrial Safety additionally requires its diploma.
Eligibility conditions
Indian nationals; 60% engineering aggregate, reduced to 55% for SC/ST/PwD. Code 101: Electrical/Electronics/Railway Engineering; 4 years rolling-stock experience including 2 years testing, commissioning and maintenance. 102: Mechanical/Railway Engineering, same experience. 103: CSE/IT, 5 years experience including 3 years AMMS/computer maintenance management. 104: Electrical/Mechanical plus approved Industrial Safety diploma, 5 years experience including 4 in safety management. 105: Electrical/Rail Vehicle Technology/Railway Engineering, 2 years rolling-stock maintenance. 106: Mechanical/Rail Vehicle Technology/Railway Engineering, same 2 years. Allied engineering branches are accepted with the prescribed experience. Only one position may be selected.

Experience / licences
Codes 101/102: 4 years including 2 relevant specialised years; 103: 5 years including 3 AMMS years; 104: 5 years including 4 safety years; 105/106: 2 relevant years. Experience is after qualification. Government/PSU applicants for Grade III also require one year in the immediate lower scale.

101: UR4 SC1 OBC1 EWS1; 102: UR2 OBC1; 103: UR1; 104: UR1; 105: UR3 SC1 OBC1; 106: UR2 OBC1. Total 20; horizontal concessions are not extra seats.

Age relaxations and exceptions
SC/ST +5, OBC-NCL +3; PwD at least 40% +10 additionally. Excess relevant post-qualification experience may support further age concession; aggregate ceiling 57. BEML internal candidates require three residual service years.

No automatic right to interview; medical fitness and original-document verification are mandatory. Only the advertised qualifying disciplines/experience routes qualify.

How to apply, step by step
- Open the BEML-specific registration link. Select one position, enter qualifications and employment, upload documents, write at least 150 words on relevant experience, pay ₹500 if applicable, and retain the registration number. Submit by 22 October 2026 at 18:00 IST. Government/PSU staff use proper channel within ten days of closing or provide the notified NOC/relieving evidence.
