Class 12 with Science or Mathematics
Eligibility conditions
Intermediate/Class 12 with Science or Mathematics from a recognised board. Must meet one of the notified Uttarakhand employment-registration, native/permanent-residence or Uttarakhand schooling routes, including the specified service-family and other exceptions. Physical measurements, eyesight and endurance/field tests are mandatory. Preference conditions include the notified Territorial Army or NCC qualifications. General age 18–28 on 1 July 2026; category relaxations apply only as expressly notified.

Physical / medical / skill conditions
General minimum height: male 163 cm, female 150 cm, with specified group concessions to 152/145 cm; chest expansion 5 cm. Eyesight defect beyond ±4 dioptres is disallowed. Run: male 25 km / female 14 km in four hours. Shot put 7.275 kg: 5 m / 3.5 m; long jump 4 m / 2 m; high jump 1.1 m / 0.7 m. The PDF governs permitted concessions and attempts.

Exam pattern / marking scheme
100-mark two-hour MCQ test, one-quarter negative marking; stated qualifying thresholds 45% General/OBC/EWS and 35% SC/ST. Physical tests are qualifying.
