Eligibility conditions

Qualifications must be held on the notification date, 6 October 2026. Many posts require SSLC; specified corporations require a recognised degree/B.Com; Typist and Steno roles require the exact Tamil/English technical grades; laboratory and Forest Guard roles require HSC with listed science subjects. The detailed post-code table below identifies the route. Office Automation acquisition concessions apply only where the notice permits. Forest Guard requires a driving licence, at least three years driving experience after licence, basic motor-mechanics knowledge and a Tamil Nadu recognised first-aid certificate. Forest posts require physical/endurance standards. Adequate Tamil and the separate Tamil examination conditions apply. Executive Officer requires Hindu religion; Waqf Typist/Steno posts require Muslim religion. Reserved categories, PSTM, disability suitability, government-service and equivalence conditions are governed by the notification.

Age on 1 July 2026. General-category ordinary limits: most posts 18–under 30; VAO 21–under 30; Executive Officer 25–under 35; forest posts 21–under 30. Different notified category/post concessions apply. · Cutoff: 2026-07-01

Category, domicile and PwBD

6,574 is a tentative total. Reservation applies separately to each post; the notification says detailed post/unit category allocation will be announced later. Do not treat not-yet-announced category counts as zero. Horizontal and outstanding-sportsperson provisions have post-specific footnotes.

Physical / medical / skill conditions

Forest posts only: male minimum height 163 cm (ST 152), female/third gender 150 cm (ST 145); chest 79 cm male or 74 cm female/third gender with 5 cm expansion. Forest Guard driving role has specified unaided vision and other medical requirements. Endurance and certificate conditions are in section 4.3; these standards are not applied to every Group IV post.

How to apply, step by step

1. Open the official TNPSC application page and choose Apply Now for Notification 11/2026.
2. Complete or access One Time Registration; OTR alone is not an application.
3. Fill the Group IV form, select eligible post options and examination centres, upload supporting records and the prescribed photograph/signature.
4. Pay ₹100 examination fee unless a valid exemption/free chance applies; new/renewed OTR costs ₹150 where required.
5. Submit by 5 November 2026, 23:59 IST, and retain the application and fee receipt. The correction window is 9 November 00:01 through 11 November 23:59 IST.

Use the authority’s own application flow. Never share passwords, OTPs or payment PINs with us. Official application fees are separate from optional form-help charges.
