Minimum qualification
AICTE-approved technical degree; first year or second-year lateral entry
Eligibility conditions
Students with disability of at least 40%, admitted through the stated entry route. Annual family income not above ₹8 lakh under the guidelines. Qualifying-examination/admission gap no more than two years.

Income and household conditions
The linked scheme guidelines say annual family income must not exceed ₹8 lakh. The FAQ uses "less than ₹8 lakh"; applicants exactly at the boundary need institute/AICTE confirmation.
Who cannot apply
Other scholarships/financial assistance, non-approved or non-technical courses, postgraduate/dual-degree courses, failure and dropout are restricted. Renewal needs promotion; no extra hostel/medical grant.
